Each brings an average of 15 years' experience to his or her current position as well as a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Jeff Margolis
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Margolis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Widely recognized as a visionary in the application of innovative technology to the complex and rapidly changing healthcare industry, Jeff Margolis founded The TriZetto Group, Inc. in 1997. He has more than 19 years of experience architecting and managing information technology and services for some of the nation's largest and most innovative healthcare organizations. He is the former senior vice president and chief information officer of FHP International Corp., a $4 billion healthcare company that operated health plans, multi-specialty physician clinics and hospitals, serving more than 2 million members and patients. Margolis was named an “up and comer” by Modern Healthcare magazine and is the former chairman of the Managed Care Executive Group. In 2002, he was named Ernst & Young's Technology Entrepreneur of the Year for Orange County, California. A certified public accountant, Margolis holds certificates in Colorado and Illinois. He received his bachelor's degree with high honors in business administration/ management information systems from the University of Illinois.

Kathleen Earley
President and Chief Operating Officer
Kathleen Earley, President and Chief Operating Officer Kathleen Earley directs TriZetto's revenue development organization and operating team, including Product Management, Business Development, Professional Services, and Sales and Marketing. Earley’s experience includes a 25-year record of leading the growth of innovation-based technology businesses. Previously, she was a corporate senior vice president of AT&T and the president of AT&T Data/Internet Services, where she spearheaded the carrier's drive into the Internet and built the company's leadership position. Before AT&T, Earley was director of IBM's Multimedia Alliances/High Performance Computing division and led IBM's Digital Domain, a digital production studio that specialized in advanced computer visual effects. She began her career in sales at IBM and grew through management positions in national accounts, planning and strategy, and IBM's Prodigy business. Earley received both her MBA in finance and bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of California, Berkeley.

Tony Bellomo
Executive Vice President, Product Management
Tony Bellomo, Executive Vice President, Product Management Tony Bellomo brings more than 25 years of technical and managerial experience to his position as executive vice president of Product Management for TriZetto. In this role, he oversees all aspects of TriZetto’s product and service offerings for healthcare payers. His team is responsible for market analysis, product strategy, product planning, and sales readiness. He also is responsible for the hosting and business process outsourcing service delivery for all payer customers. As the former president of Erisco (acquired by TriZetto in 2000), Bellomo spearheaded the development and launch of Facets. Bellomo brings practical, hands-on expertise and long-term strategic perspective to managed-care technology, having served several years as a division president and in virtually every capacity from development to marketing. Bellomo graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.

Patricia Gorman
CIO & Quality Officer, Corporate Information Services
Patricia Gorman, CIO & Quality Officer, Corporate Information Services As the chief information and quality officer, Pat Gorman is responsible for leveraging all corporation technology to ensure the future growth of the company. Previously, Gorman was the executive vice president of TriZetto’s Enterprise Solutions unit, where she was accountable for the strategic direction and operations of the company’s software hosting and related business process outsourcing services. In this capacity, she tripled the growth of these business units and instituted commercially-graded best practices. Prior to joining TriZetto, Gorman served as executive vice president of corporate operations for Time Warner Telecom, where she introduced process-management techniques that substantially reduced operational costs and improved quality performance. Before that, she spent 23 years at AT&T in a variety of roles, ranging from corporate operations and marketing to sales branch and product management. Gorman received her MBA from Seton Hall University and a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

John Jordan
Executive Vice President, Sales
John Jordan, Executive Vice President, Sales John Jordan oversees sales of TriZetto's full range of offerings and has helped the company build a strong and diverse customer base. Current customers include some of the nation's leading payer organizations, a broad range of commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans, Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, as well as specialty organizations. Jordan joined TriZetto after more than 14 years with Erisco Managed Care Technologies, Inc. (acquired by TriZetto in 2000), where he led the sales division. Previously, Jordan worked at IBM, where he specialized in the health and insurance industries, and at Cullinet Software, now part of Computer Associates. He received a bachelor's degree from Fordham University in New York City.

Joseph Manheim
Senior Vice President, Benefits Administration
Joe Manheim, Senior Vice President, Benefits Administration Joseph Manheim is senior vice president of Benefits Administration for TriZetto. A 25-year veteran of the healthcare payer and services industries, Manheim is responsible for leveraging TriZetto’s position to develop new growth opportunities for the company’s third-party benefits administration business. Most recently, Manheim served as president of Interplan Health Group (IHG), a $60 million, multi-regional, managed-care PPO and cost-containment company. He also served as president of JBC Healthcare Partners, a regional PPO retiree medical program, and he was senior vice president and chief operating officer of CCN Managed Care, a wholly-owned subsidiary of HCA Healthcare. Manheim’s career has included leadership positions at Unilab Corporation, where he was vice president of business development; Preferred Health Network, where he was senior vice president and chief operating officer; Admar Corporation, where he was vice president of network operations; and Humana Corporation, where he served as director of respiratory therapy and the pulmonary laboratory, then as market manager of the Humana Care Plus and Humana Health Plans for Southern Calif. Manheim holds an associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from Ventura Community College, and teaching credentials from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He completed business administration coursework at the University of Redlands.

Diane Marra
Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing and Business Development
Diane Marra, Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing and Business Development Diane Marra runs TriZetto's Integrated Marketing and Business Development operations, which includes Marketing, Business Planning and Partnerships. In this capacity, she is responsible for establishing, implementing and communicating business planning policies and procedures for all TriZetto business units. She oversees TriZetto's Marketing activities including Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Intelligence and Market Strategy. And she drives the overall corporate Strategic Investment Process (SIP) and Partner program. Marra comes to TriZetto from AT&T, where her 24-year career culminated in her position as vice president and chief operating officer for Strategy, Business Planning, Operations, and New Business Development for the Data/IP Managed Services organization. In that position, she was responsible for more than $8 billion in annual revenue and grew revenue at twice the industry rate. She has held positions in product and offer management, sales, marketing, and development of channel/distribution strategies. Marra holds a BS in psychology and sociology from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Alan Ross
Senior Vice President, Human Capital Management
Alan Ross, Senior Vice President, Human Capital Management Alan Ross leads TriZetto's human resource functions, including recruiting, benefits, training, and compliance across all business units. He joined the company in January 2006, bringing more than 25 years of experience leading human resource functions at Fortune 500 companies in healthcare, information technology, and consumer and media research. Most recently, Ross served as senior partner with an independent strategic business consulting firm focusing on services for preferred provider organizations, managed health care, and human resource outsourcing. Prior to that, Ross held senior-level human resource positions with Planvista Corporation (formerly Healthplan Services), The A.C. Nielsen Company, and Dun & Bradstreet. Ross brings to TriZetto vast experience with complex organizations, an ability to align human resource requirements with predictable profit margins, and skill at developing systems and metrics to measure and improve quality. He received his master's degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Government at Syracuse University, and his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from The University of Connecticut.

Dan Spirek
Executive Vice President, Integrated Health Solutions, & Chief Solutions Officer
Dan Spirek, Executive Vice President, Integrated Health Solutions, & Chief Solutions Officer As a founder of TriZetto, Dan Spirek has been a major driver of the company's vision and capability development for professional services, hosting and business process outsourcing. As head of Integrated Health Solutions, he is responsible for the definition and delivery of market-facing solutions, including TriZetto's consumer-directed and government programs offerings, which help health plans and benefits administrators compete in an increasingly competitive market. Prior to joining TriZetto, Spirek held executive information-technology roles with PacifiCare Health Systems, FHP International Corp., and TakeCare Inc. He began his managed-care career with Andersen Consulting/Accenture. Spirek has extensive experience in information-systems management during mergers and acquisitions and with diverse managed-care business models, including staff, group, IPA, PPO and mixed-model organizations. He also has significant clinical-systems experience, having been responsible for information-technology operations in ambulatory medical centers. Spirek is former multi-term chairman of the Managed Care Executive Group. He received his bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, with an emphasis in Finance, from the University of Colorado School of Business Administration.

Jim Sullivan
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Jim Sullivan, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Jim Sullivan brings more than 15 years of experience as a practicing attorney to his position as TriZetto's senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. He has worked extensively in corporate and securities law, and is a certified public accountant. Before joining TriZetto, Sullivan ran a legal and consulting practice focused on general corporate and securities law for technology and emerging-growth companies. Previously, he was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Long Beach Financial Corporation in Orange, California. Sullivan also served as vice president, legal counsel, for American Savings Bank in Irvine, and as a corporate and securities associate with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Orange County. Before his 1985 graduation from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Sullivan was an accountant with Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young). He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.

Philip Tamminga
Executive Vice President, Development and Support
Philip Tamminga, Executive Vice President, Development and Support As executive vice president of TriZetto's Professional Services unit, Philip Tamminga oversees the company's consulting operations, which include software implementation, integration, and product training. His team helps customers get the highest possible return on their IT investment. Tamminga also manages TriZetto's key professional services partnerships. He is responsible for building and strengthening these strategic relationships, which serve as alternate distribution channels for TriZetto solutions. Before joining TriZetto, Tamminga was a senior partner at Accenture, where his career spanned 24 years. A founder of Accenture's customer relationship management practice, he has deep expertise in this strategic area. During his tenure, he headed the firm's global alliance with Siebel, leading a team of 4,000 professionals and driving the growth and profitability of this business. His experience covers numerous industries and clients and includes the development and management of third-party relationships. Tamminga received both his MBA and bachelor's degree from the University of Denver.

Mark Tomaino
Senior Vice President, Corporate Development
Mark Tomaino, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development Mark Tomaino joined TriZetto in August 2003 as Vice President of Corporate Development. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in January 2006. From November 1991 until joining TriZetto, Mr. Tomaino worked at Bausch & Lomb Incorporated in a variety of legal, strategy and business development roles focused on its medical device and pharmaceutical businesses. From September 1986 until November 1991, Mr. Tomaino was engaged as an attorney in private practice. Mr. Tomaino received his B.A. in Economics and English from the College of the Holy Cross in 1982, his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University in 1985, and his M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Irvine in 2003.
